How to use

Position the SLS-7 HCL and FE-700 fixtures on the floor or stage where uplighting or accent lighting is required, ensuring stable placement and adequate ventilation. Connect fixtures to mains power and link them via DMX cabling to the Color Chief controller following standard DMX addressing practices. Use the controller to assign channels, program scenes and adjust color and intensity settings. Test scenes at low intensity first, then refine color temperature and brightness to suit the environment and camera or audience viewing conditions.

Recommendations

For consistent color across fixtures, set unified DMX profiles and calibrate hue settings before a performance. Use protective flight cases for transport, avoid exposing fixtures to prolonged moisture, and allow time for cooling between extended sessions. For rental or event use, label DMX channels and power connections to speed up setup and teardown.
