SHIVERPEAKS BS30-16495 cavo ottico attivo DisplayPort 1.4, 50 m, 8K 60Hz, 4K 120Hz, nero

Active Optical DisplayPort cable that carries 8K video over a 50-meter span without signal loss. The hybrid fiber-copper core converts electrical signals to light, sustaining the full 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth across distances where passive copper cables fail.

Advantages

Optical transmission eliminates electromagnetic interference and ground loops, so the picture stays clean even in cable-dense racks or industrial environments. The slim, flexible PVC jacket bends around corners and through conduits with far less bulk than copper equivalents. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and maintain a stable contact over thousands of mating cycles. Directional source/display labeling prevents installation errors, while Display Stream Compression (DSC) and HDCP 2.2 keep 8K content protected and playable.

Suitable for

• Digital signage and video walls in retail, transport, and corporate lobbies
• Conference rooms and lecture halls where the source sits far from the display
• Medical imaging and control rooms that demand pixel-perfect 8K or dual 4K feeds
• Home theater and gaming setups that need 4K 120 Hz HDR over long cable runs
• Broadcast and post-production suites moving uncompressed video between rooms

Key specifications

• DisplayPort 1.4 active optical cable (AOC), 50 m length
• Supports 8K (7680 x 4320) at 60 Hz and 4K (3840 x 2160) at 120 Hz
• 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth, HDCP 2.2, HDR, DSC, EDID, CEC
• DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male, gold-plated connectors
• Directional cable: source and display ends clearly marked
• Black PVC jacket, plug-and-play, no external power required

Recommendations

For installations over 10 meters where 8K or high-refresh 4K is required, this optical cable is the reliable choice. Verify that both source and display support DisplayPort 1.4 and the desired resolution/refresh combination. Because the cable is directional, connect the labeled source end to the transmitting device. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius to preserve fiber integrity.
