Cambia-sesso per cavi S/CONN 10-01051 HDMI-A nero argento placcato oro

The S/CONN 10-01051 HDMI-A cable gender changer by ShiverPeaks is a compact adapter that joins two HDMI-A cables to extend reach or reroute connections without replacing existing cabling. It has a low-profile housing finished in black and silver and gold-plated contacts to support reliable electrical contact and reduce oxidation over time. The adapter is intended for use with standard HDMI-A leads and maintains the original cable orientation and signal polarity.

Advantages

This HDMI-A gender changer provides a straightforward mechanical solution for connecting two HDMI-A cables where a single longer cable is needed. Gold-plated contacts improve contact conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the metalized black and silver shell offers basic mechanical protection and a professional look. The small form factor makes it easy to install in tight spaces behind displays, AV receivers, or media boxes.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI runs between TV, monitor, projector and source equipment
• Joining two existing HDMI-A cables to avoid buying a replacement long cable
• Temporary setups in home theater, conference rooms, classrooms, or exhibition booths

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI-A to HDMI-A
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing finish: black and silver metalized finish
• Form factor: compact, inline gender changer

How to use

Align each HDMI-A cable plug with the corresponding connector on the gender changer and push in until fully seated; ensure a firm but gentle fit to avoid stressing cable ends. Use the adapter to join two HDMI-A leads when a single longer cable is required or to reconfigure routing behind devices. Verify the connection and then power on connected equipment to confirm signal transmission. The adapter does not alter signal type or conversion—use with compatible HDMI-A cables and devices only.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, use high-quality HDMI cables with compatible bandwidth ratings and avoid chaining many adapters in series. Keep the connection area secure to prevent strain on plugs and consider using cable management to reduce mechanical stress.
