Cavo audio S/CONN SP69006-2.0 TOSLINK 2 m blu

The ShiverPeaks Audio Cable S/CONN SP69006-2.0 TOSLINK 2m Blue is a 2-metre optical digital audio cable with male TOSLINK connectors on both ends. The cable is designed for transmitting digital audio signals between devices such as TVs, soundbars and audio receivers. Gold-plated connector contacts and a durable blue jacket provide reliable physical protection and consistent optical coupling for home audio and AV setups.

Advantages

This TOSLINK cable uses optical transmission to avoid electromagnetic interference, delivering clear digital audio without ground loop issues. Gold-plated contacts improve connector durability and help maintain consistent signal transfer at the connection points. The 2 m length accommodates typical home entertainment layouts while the flexible outer jacket simplifies routing behind cabinets and furniture.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to soundbars or home theatre systems
• Linking audio receivers and DACs with optical inputs/outputs
• Providing digital audio connections for gaming consoles and media players

Key specifications

• Connector type: male TOSLINK on both ends
• Length: 2 metres
• Contact finish: gold-plated connector contacts
• Cable colour: blue outer jacket
• Transmission medium: optical fiber for digital audio

How to use

Ensure both source and destination devices have optical (TOSLINK) ports. With devices powered off or muted, insert each male TOSLINK connector into the corresponding optical input and output until it seats securely. Power on the devices and select the optical digital audio input on the receiving device. Adjust audio settings on source and receiver as needed to enable optical output and match sample rate or bit depth if configurable.

Recommendations

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve the optical fiber. Use a length appropriate to your setup to minimize excess cable coiling. If audio is absent after connection, check that devices are set to use optical output and that the connectors are fully seated; clean connector ends gently if necessary.
