Cavo HDMI S/CONN 10-05155

The S/CONN 10-05155 HDMI cable from ShiverPeaks is a black HDMI Type A to Type A cable engineered for standard HDMI connections between TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers. It supports high-bandwidth data transfer up to 18 Gbit/s and includes Audio Return Channel (ARC) functionality. Gold-plated contacts are used on both male connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion, maintaining consistent audio and video transmission quality.

Advantages

This HDMI cable provides a stable high-speed signal path suitable for Full HD and many 4K applications at lower frame and color depths, enabled by its 18 Gbit/s bandwidth. The gold-plated contacts enhance durability and reduce contact resistance, while the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure broad device compatibility. Its black exterior offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance for home and professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and game consoles to TVs and AV receivers
• Linking monitors and projectors to laptops and desktop computers with HDMI ports
• Integrating audio return from compatible TVs to soundbars or AV receivers using ARC

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Maximum data transfer rate: 18 Gbit/s
• Audio: Audio Return Channel (ARC) supported
• Contacts: Gold-plated for improved corrosion resistance
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box or PC) and the other HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI input on the display or AV receiver. If using ARC, plug the cable into the HDMI ARC-labelled port on the TV and the ARC-compatible port on the soundbar or receiver, then enable ARC in device menus if required. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input/source selection to establish audio and video transmission.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and heavy kinking of the cable; route it with gentle curves and secure it away from sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power supplies. If you require higher bandwidth for advanced 4K60 HDR or high-frame-rate content, verify device requirements and consider higher-specification HDMI cables where necessary.
