Cavo HDMI S/CONN 30-05085 15 m

The S/CONN 30-05085 HDMI Cable by ShiverPeaks is a 15 m HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for transmitting high-definition audio and video signals over longer distances. It features gold-plated contacts to improve contact reliability and reduce signal loss. The cable supports 3D video formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC), making it suitable for connecting TVs, AV receivers and other home entertainment components where extended reach is required.

Advantages

The cable’s 15-metre length allows flexible equipment placement without relying on wireless transmission. Gold-plated contacts enhance corrosion resistance and stable signal transfer. Support for 3D and ARC ensures compatibility with typical modern home theatre functions. The black outer jacket provides a discreet appearance that integrates with most AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to an AV receiver or soundbar across larger rooms
• Linking a Blu-ray or 3D-capable player to a display
• Running a cable through wall conduits or along skirting boards for fixed installations
• Home theatre setups that require ARC for audio return from TV to receiver

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (standard) on both ends
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved connectivity
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of the source device (for example, a Blu-ray player, game console, or set-top box) and the other end to the HDMI input on the TV or AV receiver. If using ARC, ensure the TV and receiver support ARC and enable ARC in both devices’ audio settings. Route the cable along safe paths, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid kinking the cable and do not tightly coil it when storing. When installing in-wall, use conduits rated for in-wall use and follow local regulations. If experiencing picture or audio issues, check connector seating and try a shorter cable run or different HDMI input to isolate potential issues.
