Cavo USB S/CONN 13-22055 USB 2.0 5 m nero

The ShiverPeaks USB cable S/CONN 13-22055 is a 5 m USB 2.0 extension cable with USB A connectors on both ends, designed to connect devices that require a reliable wired link over longer distances. It supports USB 2.0 data transfer rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s and comes in a black finish that integrates unobtrusively with home and office setups.

Advantages

This USB A to USB A cable provides extended reach without introducing active signal boosters, maintaining a simple passive connection for peripherals. Its 5 m length reduces the need to reposition devices or workstations while preserving compatibility with USB 2.0 ports. The neutral black exterior offers visual consistency with typical computer peripherals and cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives, printers or hubs where a longer cable run is required
• Linking PCs or devices in office environments when desk layout prevents short connections
• Temporary or semi-permanent set-ups that need a straightforward USB A to A wired connection

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB standard: USB 2.0
• Maximum data transfer rate: 0.48 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one USB A connector into the host device and the other into the peripheral device, ensuring connectors are inserted firmly and oriented correctly. For optimal results, use this cable with devices supporting USB 2.0 speeds; downwards compatibility allows connection to USB 1.x ports at their respective speeds. Avoid excessive bending near connector ends and route the cable to prevent pinching or sharp kinks that could impair performance.

Recommendations

For reliable performance over the full 5 m length, avoid routing the cable alongside high-power electrical lines and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When connecting storage devices, ensure both host and peripheral devices have stable power to prevent data transfer interruptions.
