Cavo USB S/CONN 13-37020 USB 3.2 Gen 2 1 m grigio

The ShiverPeaks USB Cable S/CONN 13-37020 USB 3.2 Gen 2 1m Grey is a 1-metre USB A to USB A cable that supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) standard with data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s. Its grey jacket and standard USB A connectors on both ends make it compatible with devices that accept USB A connections for high-speed data transfer and charging. The cable is intended for direct device-to-device connections where USB A to USB A wiring is required.

Advantages

The cable supports high-speed transfers up to 10 Gbit/s, enabling fast file movement and responsive data access. With USB A connectors on both ends it provides straightforward connectivity to legacy and contemporary hosts or peripherals that accept USB A. The 1 m length balances reach and signal integrity, reducing clutter while retaining flexibility. The neutral grey finish fits professional and home setups without standing out.

Suitable for

• Connecting external drives or enclosures to hosts with USB A ports that accept A-to-A links
• High-speed data transfer between compatible devices supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2
• Charging or powering peripherals when both ends accept USB A connections
• Use in desktop, office, or home environments where a 1 m cable is appropriate

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2), up to 10 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 1 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one USB A connector into the host device and the other USB A connector into the peripheral device. Ensure both devices support USB A to USB A connections and that the peripheral supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve maximum transfer speeds. Use gently to avoid sharp bends near the connectors; when disconnecting, grip the connector housing rather than pulling the cable itself to prevent strain on the terminations.

Recommendations

For optimum performance, use the cable with devices that explicitly support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and ensure connectors are fully seated. Avoid routing the cable alongside high-power mains cables to reduce potential interference and store the cable coiled without tight knots to preserve shielding and conductor integrity.
