Cavo USB S/CONN 14-16035 USB 2.0 2m Mini-USB B USB A nero

The S/CONN 14-16035 USB cable by ShiverPeaks is a 2 meter USB 2.0 connection cable with a Mini-USB B plug on one end and a USB A plug on the other. It provides a standard USB 2.0 data interface with a maximum transfer speed of 0.48 Gbit/s and features nickel-plated contacts for improved contact reliability and resistance to corrosion. The cable is finished in black and designed for straightforward device-to-host connections where a Mini-USB B port is required.

Advantages

This USB cable supports the USB 2.0 specification, offering compatibility with a wide range of legacy devices that use a Mini-USB B connector. The 2 m length provides extra reach for flexible device placement while maintaining a single-cable solution for power and data. Nickel-plated contacts help reduce contact wear and oxidation over repeated insertions, and the standard USB A interface ensures easy connection to computers, chargers and hubs.

Suitable for

• Connecting older cameras, GPS units and portable audio players to a computer for data transfer
• Charging and syncing devices with a Mini-USB B port from USB A power sources
• Using with external accessories such as card readers or measurement instruments that use Mini-USB B

How to use

Insert the Mini-USB B plug into the device’s Mini-USB port and plug the USB A connector into a computer USB port, USB charger or powered hub. Ensure connectors are aligned before insertion to avoid damage. For data transfer, wait for the host device to recognise the connected device and follow the operating system prompts to access files or perform synchronization. For charging, connect to a suitable power source with an appropriate current rating; charging speed depends on the device and power source capabilities.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and unplug by holding the connector body rather than pulling the cable. Store the cable coiled without tight kinks to prolong service life. Use in dry indoor environments and keep contacts free from dust and debris to maintain reliable connections.
