ShiverPeaks S/CONN maximum connectivity connettore femmina Cinch — giallo, contatti dorati (51500-YG)

ShiverPeaks S/CONN maximum connectivity Cinch coupling in yellow with gold-plated contacts is an RCA-type audio connector component designed for linking two RCA/cinch cables or building custom patch connections. It provides corrosion-resistant gold-plated contact surfaces to maintain reliable signal transmission in home hi-fi systems, studio patch bays and general audio installations. The compact coupling keeps cable orientation and impedance continuity while offering a visually distinctive yellow finish for easy identification in multi-cable setups.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help maintain low contact resistance for consistent analog signal transfer. The coupling’s construction ensures a firm mechanical connection between RCA plugs, supporting stable audio connections under normal handling. Its compact dimensions and yellow color simplify routing and identification among multiple cables without adding significant bulk to the setup.

Suitable for

• Joining two RCA/cinch audio cables to extend length
• Creating or modifying patch connections in home hi-fi and studio environments
• Temporary or permanent interconnections in AV racks and patch bays
• Color-coded cable management and quick visual identification

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA/cinch coupling (female-to-female)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Color: yellow outer housing for visual identification
• Function: passive coupling for analog audio signal transmission
• Compatibility: standard RCA plugs and cables used in audio/video applications

How to use

Insert the male RCA plug of one cable firmly into one side of the coupling and the male RCA plug of the second cable into the opposite side until both plugs seat fully. Ensure contacts are clean and free of debris before connecting. For best signal quality, avoid excessive bending or strain at the cable entry points and secure cables to prevent accidental disconnection. The coupling can remain in-line in permanent installations or be used temporarily for on-the-fly extensions.

Recommendations

Periodically inspect the gold-plated contacts for dirt or tarnish and clean gently with a dry, lint-free cloth or a contact cleaner suitable for audio connectors. Avoid exposing the coupling to prolonged moisture or corrosive environments to preserve contact performance and mechanical integrity.
