How to use

Connect the SF-500 to the satellite LNB using the standard coaxial cable, power the unit using the recommended batteries, and switch it on. Point the dish roughly toward the expected satellite position and observe the signal strength and quality indicators on the display. Make small adjustments to azimuth, elevation and skew while watching the readings to reach the optimal values. After alignment, recheck both strength and quality to confirm stable reception before securing the antenna.

Recommendations

Use the meter outdoors near the dish to avoid signal loss in long cable runs during alignment; perform fine adjustments while monitoring both signal strength and quality, and verify reception with the receiver after securing the dish. Keep spare batteries available for uninterrupted work in the field.
