Slot per scheda adattatore CI per TV Samsung, modello 3709-001791

Replacement CI adapter card connector compatible with Samsung TVs, model 3709-001791. This component accepts CAM/CI conditional access modules and smart cards to enable decryption of subscription television services. It is intended as a hardware replacement for damaged or worn CI slot assemblies and restores the physical interface needed for smart-card-based conditional access without modifying the TV's firmware.

Advantages

The CI adapter card connector is a direct-fit replacement designed to match the physical form and electrical contacts of the original Samsung CI slot. It restores reliable card insertion and contact alignment, reducing intermittent connection issues and read errors. Because it replaces only the hardware interface, no software changes are required, making it suitable for service repairs and DIY restoration of conditional access functionality.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for Samsung TV CI slot form factor
• Function: accepts CAM/CI conditional access modules and smart cards
• Interface type: front-loading CI adapter card connector with contact pins
• Mounting: PCB-mounted connector for internal replacement
• Purpose: hardware replacement for damaged or non-functional CI slot

How to use

Power off the TV and disconnect it from mains before beginning any repair. Access the CI slot area by removing the rear or side cover according to the TV model's service instructions. Desolder or disconnect the existing, faulty connector from the PCB and fit the replacement CI adapter card connector in the same orientation, ensuring proper alignment of contacts and mounting points. Reassemble the TV and power it on. Insert a compatible CAM/CI module and smart card to verify that the module is detected and subscription channels decrypt correctly.

Recommendations

Perform installation in an ESD-safe environment and follow the TV manufacturer's service manual for disassembly and reassembly steps. If uncertain about soldering or PCB work, consult a qualified technician. Use only compatible CAM/CI modules and smart cards issued by service providers to avoid contact or protocol mismatches.
