SOLUM Newton Pro Full Color 8.2 bianco

Retail pricing updates typically demand paper, ink, and manual labour—the SOLUM Newton Pro Full Color 8.2 white replaces that cycle with a 7-colour E Ink display that refreshes wirelessly and runs for up to a decade on a single battery. Built around a 2.4 GHz proprietary protocol with AES-128 encryption, it delivers vivid, high-contrast promotions without the clutter of traditional signage.

Highlights

• 8.2-inch E Ink full-colour display with 960 x 540 resolution and 180° viewing angle
• Supports 7 colours: black, white, red, green, blue, yellow, and magenta
• Ultra-low power ARM Cortex-M4 processor enables up to 10 years of battery life (2 updates/day)
• IP67-rated enclosure withstands dust, splashes, and brief immersion
• NFC Forum Type 2 tag for tap-to-pair and tap-to-identify workflows
• 3-colour LED indicator (red, green, blue) for status and pick-to-light applications
• Operates from 0°C to 40°C, storage from -20°C to 60°C

In daily use

Deploy the Newton Pro on shelves, pegs, or freezer doors—the white bezel blends into modern retail fixtures while the colour E Ink panel draws attention to promotions, allergens, or product imagery. Staff can update thousands of labels simultaneously via the encrypted 2.4 GHz network; no line-of-sight is required, and the BLE 5.0-based protocol coexists with existing Wi-Fi without interference. The NFC tag simplifies commissioning: simply tap a smartphone to read the label ID, battery status, and assigned template. When integrated with a pick-to-light system, the RGB LED guides order pickers to the exact location, reducing errors in high-volume fulfilment.
