VIRBAC EPI-OTIC 125 ml is a veterinary ear care solution formulated for dogs and cats to support routine otic hygiene. The clear, ready-to-use liquid is designed to remove debris and excess cerumen, promote drying of the ear canal and help maintain cleaner ears after grooming or medical treatment. It is suitable for regular maintenance and for use following manual cleaning to reduce residual moisture that can contribute to irritation.

Advantages

The solution combines cleansing and drying properties in a single preparation intended for animal use. Its formulation facilitates gentle removal of dirt and excess wax without aggressive mechanical action, supporting a more comfortable cleaning process for pets. By helping to reduce excess moisture in the ear canal, it contributes to a drier environment that can lower the risk of irritation associated with damp conditions.

How to use

Apply the recommended quantity into the ear canal as directed by a veterinarian or product instructions. Gently massage the base of the ear to help dislodge debris, then allow the pet to shake its head; excess fluid and loosened material can be removed with a soft, absorbent pad or cotton wool held at the entrance of the ear canal. Avoid deep insertion of applicators or cotton swabs into the ear canal. Use as part of regular hygiene routines or after manual cleaning to assist drying.

Recommendations

Consult a veterinarian before first use if the animal has an inflamed, swollen or painful ear or a suspected ear infection. Use only as directed for topical otic application. If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and seek veterinary advice.
