Spazzola metallica circolare Bosch 2 608 622 124 10 cm diametro gambo 6 mm

The Bosch 2 608 622 124 wire wheel with a 10 cm diameter and 6 mm shank is a crimped-wire cleaning wheel intended for surface preparation on metals. It is designed to remove annealing colour from welded seams and perform light to medium cleaning tasks on small surfaces, grooves and edges on stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.

Advantages

This crimped wire wheel provides consistent contact with uneven surfaces and edges, allowing efficient removal of scale, oxidation and coatings without aggressive material removal. The 6 mm shank fits standard rotary tools and bench grinders that accept that diameter, while the 10 cm diameter offers a balance between access to tight areas and coverage for small workpieces. Durable construction from Bosch ensures reliable performance for routine cleaning tasks.

How to use

Mount the wire wheel onto a compatible tool that accepts a 6 mm shank and ensure it is securely fastened before operation. Run the tool at the recommended speed for the accessory and apply light, even pressure to the workpiece; avoid excessive force which can deform the wire filaments or damage the surface. Work along the welds, edges or grooves with steady movements until the desired finish is achieved. After use, inspect the wheel for wear and replace it if wires are significantly worn or missing.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection. Do not use the wheel on hardened steel or for heavy stock removal. Store in a dry place to prevent contamination and inspect the accessory for damage before each use.
