Spelacavi Cimco 121027 nero rosso

The Cimco 121027 cable stripper in black and red is a manual tool designed to remove insulation from single conductors and small multi-core cables with a stripping capacity of 4.8 mm to 7.5 mm. Its compact shape and ergonomic handle provide controlled operation for repetitive tasks, while the durable construction supports long-term use in workshop and field environments. The tool is intended for precision stripping without damaging conductor strands when used within the specified diameter range.

Advantages

The tool combines a narrow stripping range optimized for standard cable diameters with a shape that facilitates one-handed handling. A robust build and corrosion-resistant components contribute to consistent performance over time. The textured grip and balanced weight distribution reduce hand fatigue during repeated operations, and the design minimizes the risk of nicking conductors when properly adjusted and applied.

Suitable for

• Stripping insulation from single-core and small multi-core cables (4.8–7.5 mm diameter)
• Electrical installation and maintenance work in residential and commercial settings
• Electronics assembly and repair tasks requiring controlled insulation removal
• DIY projects and hobbyist wiring where precise stripping is needed

Key specifications

• Stripping capacity: 4.8 mm – 7.5 mm
• Tool type: manual cable stripper
• Handle design: ergonomic with textured grip
• Construction: durable metal components with protective coating and plastic handle sections
• Color: black and red

How to use

Select a cable with an overall diameter that falls within the 4.8–7.5 mm range. Position the cable between the stripping jaws at the desired insulation removal point, align the tool so the blade contacts only the insulation, and squeeze the handles to engage the cutter. Rotate or pull the tool along the cable as appropriate for the model until the insulation separates from the conductor. Inspect the conductor for any nicks or damage after stripping and repeat the operation if additional insulation needs to be removed. Maintain safe hand placement and avoid excessive force to prevent conductor damage.

Recommendations

Use the Cimco cable stripper within its specified diameter range for best results; test on sample waste cable before working on final pieces. Keep the cutting edges clean and free of corrosion, and store the tool dry. For cables with unusual insulation materials or multi-layer sheaths, verify compatibility and adjust technique to avoid conductor damage. Replace the tool if blades become visibly worn or if performance declines.
