Spirale di pulizia Rothenberger Ø9 mm, lunghezza 10 m, modello 1500000141

Rothenberger cleaning spiral Ø9 mm, length 10 m, model 1500000141 is a drain-cleaning cable designed for manual or machine-guided operation. The 9 mm diameter steel spiral and 10 m length allow access into narrow pipes and longer runs, transmitting torque from hand or powered drives to the cleaning head. It is intended for removal of common blockages such as hair, grease buildup and small debris in domestic and light professional plumbing applications, offering a compact solution for targeted pipe maintenance.

Advantages

The steel spiral construction provides flexible bending while maintaining torsional strength to transmit rotational force efficiently. At 9 mm diameter the cable fits small-diameter drains and traps while the 10 m length gives extended reach into run-outs. The design supports both manual crank and compatible drain-cleaning machines, enabling controlled cleaning action and improved ability to dislodge obstructions without replacing pipework.

Suitable for

• Clearing hair and soap residue from bathroom sink and shower drains
• Removing grease and small debris from kitchen sink pipes
• Routine maintenance of domestic drain lines and traps
• Light professional plumbing tasks in apartments and small commercial premises

Key specifications

• Spiral diameter: 9 mm
• Length: 10 m
• Material: flexible steel spiral designed for torque transmission
• Compatibility: suitable for manual crank operation and compatible with many drain-cleaning machines
• Application: designed for small-diameter drains and traps

How to use

Insert the spiral into the drain until resistance is felt near the blockage, then apply steady rotational motion using a compatible manual crank or machine drive to work the cleaning head through the obstruction. Advance and retract the cable slowly while maintaining rotation to break up and extract debris. After clearing the blockage, flush the drain with water to remove loosened material and inspect the spiral for damage before storage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, avoid excessive force that could damage pipes, and select the spiral size suitable for the drain diameter. Do not use the spiral in heavily corroded or fragile pipes; in such cases consult a professional plumber. After each use, clean and dry the spiral to prevent corrosion and store it coiled in a dry place.
