Splitter video Gembird GVS122

The Gembird GVS122 is a compact VGA video splitter that sends the video signal from one PC to two VGA monitors. Supporting up to 2048 x 1536 resolution, this white, space-saving device requires no software and is designed for SOHO environments and small multi-display setups. Its built-in 200 MHz bandwidth amplifier extends transmission distance and improves signal quality, allowing connection of monitors up to 75 meters from the PC.

Advantages

The Gembird GVS122 enables the use of two monitors from a single VGA output without additional drivers or configuration. The integrated 200 MHz amplifier increases transmission range to about 75 meters while helping maintain video quality at high resolutions. The unit is compact, easy to install and available in a white finish that fits many office or home setups.

Suitable for

• Small office/home office setups (SOHO)
• Presentations where one PC must feed two displays
• Situations requiring a monitor to be placed far from the PC (up to 75 m)
• Basic multi-display arrangements for monitoring or information screens

How to use

Connect the VGA output of your PC to the input port of the Gembird GVS122, then connect up to two VGA monitors to the splitter’s output ports. Power the unit if an external power source is required (check the product packaging or manual). The device functions without additional software; once connected, both monitors will display the same video signal from the PC. For long-distance runs use good-quality VGA cables and verify signal integrity at the chosen resolution.

Recommendations

For best results at high resolutions or long distances, use high-quality shielded VGA cables and avoid running cables alongside strong sources of electromagnetic interference. If you experience signal degradation, reduce resolution or shorten cable length where possible.
