This Mini-SAS adapter lets you convert two internal SFF-8643 ports on a controller card into two external SFF-8644 ports. The adapter can connect up to eight drives in total and is compatible with 12Gbps SAS drives as well as 6Gbps SATA drives. For a hassle-free installation, you can mount the adapter into any new or legacy desktop expansion slot, including: PCI, AGP, and PCIe. To ensure compatibility with most computer cases, full-profile and low-profile mounting brackets are included.
