Striscia luminosa smart Philips Hue Essential Flex 5 m, Bluetooth/Zigbee, multicolore, 19 W

Philips Hue Essential Flex 5 m is a smart multicolour LED strip designed for ambient and accent lighting. The 5-metre silicone strip delivers dynamic colour and tunable white light, and connects via Bluetooth or Zigbee for wireless control and integration with the Hue ecosystem. It is intended for home use in living rooms, kitchens and other indoor spaces and operates from a 220–240 V supply with low standby consumption.

Advantages

The strip combines multicolour RGB capability with a tunable white range from warm to cool, allowing flexible mood and task lighting. Silicone housing provides a smooth light output and protects the LEDs while maintaining a slim profile. Dual connectivity (Bluetooth and Zigbee) enables direct control from a smartphone as well as integration with smart home hubs and voice assistants. With 19 W power consumption during operation and minimal standby draw, it balances brightness and energy efficiency.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This LED strip is designed for indoor use and may not be suitable for outdoor or wet locations unless additional protection is provided. It requires a compatible Hue bridge or Bluetooth-capable device for full feature control via the Hue app; some advanced automation and multi-device sync features require Zigbee hub integration.

Recommendations

For consistent colour and brightness, avoid sharp bends and cut the strip only at manufacturer-marked cut points. For synced scenes across multiple lights, use a Hue Bridge and ensure Zigbee coverage throughout the home.
