Switch gestito NETGEAR GS316EPP 16 porte PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet

The NETGEAR 16-Port High-Power PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet Plus Switch provides essential business networking features and supplies power to PoE+ devices such as VoIP phones and IP cameras. It includes 16 gigabit Ethernet ports with non-blocking bandwidth and 15 PoE+ ports delivering a combined 231W of power. The switch supports a 10Gbps switching fabric for congestion-free connectivity and uses a fanless design for silent operation. Multiple mounting options are included for desktop, wall, or rack installation.

Advantages

This switch combines high-speed Gigabit Ethernet on 16 ports with PoE+ power on 15 ports, allowing network connectivity and device power over a single cable. Advanced PoE controls enable prioritization, per-port power limits and scheduling to manage power allocation. The 10Gbps non-blocking switching fabric maintains full line-rate performance, and the fanless design ensures quiet operation suitable for noise-sensitive environments. The package includes hardware for desktop, wall or rack mounting for flexible deployment.

Key specifications

• Ports: 16 × Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• PoE+ ports: 15
• Total PoE power budget: 231W
• Switching fabric: 10Gbps non-blocking
• Design: Fanless (silent operation)
• Mounting: Desktop, wall, or rack (hardware included)

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface or mount it to a wall or rack using the included hardware. Connect your network devices to the Gigabit Ethernet ports with standard Ethernet cables. PoE+ capable devices receive power automatically when connected to one of the 15 PoE+ ports, up to the total 231W budget. Configure PoE prioritization, per-port power limits and scheduling through the switch management interface as required to control power distribution.

Recommendations

For optimal operation, distribute high-power PoE devices across ports and configure PoE prioritization and scheduling to ensure critical devices receive sufficient power. Place the fanless switch in a well-ventilated location free of direct heat sources, and use quality Ethernet cabling for reliable Gigabit connections.
