Taglierina per carta Dahle 550

The Dahle 550 paper cutter is a compact manual trimmer designed for small offices, classrooms and home use. It provides a cutting length of 36 cm and a cutting height of 2 mm, enabling precise trimming of documents and small print runs. With a cutting capacity of up to 20 sheets at once and overall dimensions that favour portability, the unit is intended for routine finishing tasks where accurate, clean cuts are required.

Advantages

The cutter combines a moderate cutting capacity with a relatively long cutting edge, allowing users to trim documents up to A4 width with consistent alignment. Its compact footprint and light weight make it easy to move and store. The design emphasises a straight, durable blade and a stabile cutting base to reduce material slipping and to deliver repeatable, accurate cuts. Simple mechanical operation requires no power supply and reduces maintenance needs.

How to use

Place the cutter on a stable, level surface. Align the paper stack against the back fence and against any integrated alignment guides to ensure a straight cut. Lower the blade handle in a controlled motion to complete the cut; for thicker stacks apply steady pressure. After cutting, lift the blade back to its resting position and remove the trimmed pieces. Follow any safety markings on the unit and keep fingers clear of the blade area while operating.

Recommendations

For best results, use standard office paper and avoid exceeding the stated maximum sheet capacity. For repeated heavy use, inspect the blade edge periodically and replace or have it professionally serviced if cuts become less clean. Store the cutter in a dry place and keep the cutting surface free of debris to maintain accuracy.
