Taglierino di sicurezza 18 mm Wedo 2 in 1

The WEDO Cutter Safety 18mm 2-in-1 is a metal-bodied utility knife that combines a classic break-off blade with an automatic retracting safety cutter. Measuring approximately 186 mm in length and 38 mm in width, it is supplied on a blister card with a break-off blade already inserted. The tool is designed to provide both conventional manual blade extension and a spring-loaded automatic retraction that pulls the blade back as soon as it loses contact with the material being cut.

Advantages

The cutter offers dual functionality: a standard break-off blade for long, continuous cutting and a safety mechanism with automatic blade retraction to reduce the risk of accidental cuts. Its ergonomically shaped metal body and rubberized grip zone ensure secure handling. The break-off device is integrated into the metal body for quick blade segment removal, and the product is delivered ready to use in a blister pack.

Suitable for

• Cutting cardboard and packaging materials
• Trimming paper, film, and laminates
• Workshop and light industrial tasks requiring controlled cutting
• DIY and craft projects that need a reliable utility knife

How to use

Extend the blade manually using the standard blade lock for continuous cutting or press the blade forward as needed. To replace a blade segment, use the integrated break-off device in the metal body following the blade manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the blade is fully retracted before handling.

Recommendations

Always wear appropriate hand protection when changing blades and keep the cutter out of reach of children. Use the automatic retraction feature when making short or interrupted cuts to minimise exposure to the blade.
