Tappetino magnetico iFixit FixMat 1 300x250 mm con penna

The iFixit FixMat 1 is a 300 x 250 mm magnetic project mat designed to keep screws and small parts organized and protected during repairs. It combines a writable, gridded, dry-erase magnetic surface with anti-static properties and stackable construction. The mat includes a 0.5 mm rollaway-proof pen and features sorting bins and a stiff backing with a raised lip for secure transport of assembled components.

Advantages

The FixMat 1 offers a writable magnetic surface that holds metal parts in place and a gridded layout that helps record part placement. Anti-static materials reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge, and the included fine-tip pen prevents accidental rolling. Built-in sorting bins let you separate and access small components quickly, while the rigid backing and raised edge enable safe stacking and transport of multiple mats.

Suitable for

• Electronics repair and disassembly (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
• Small mechanical assemblies and hobby projects
• Organizing screws, fasteners and tiny parts during maintenance
• Workshop and bench work requiring ESD-safe surfaces

How to use

Place the FixMat on a flat work surface with the magnetic side up. Use the gridded dry-erase surface and included 0.5 mm pen to mark locations or label groups of screws and parts. Lay small metal components directly on the magnetic grid or place them in the sorting bins for easier access. When moving the project, use the stiff backing and raised lip to lift and transport the mat; stack multiple mats as needed for secure storage or transport.

Recommendations

For best ESD protection, use the FixMat on a grounded workbench and follow standard anti-static handling procedures. Clean the dry-erase surface with a suitable cleaner and store the pen secured to prevent loss.
