Targus DOCK429GL USB4 Dual Video 4K Mini Dock, Dual HDMI 2.0, 140W EPR PD Pass-Through, Gigabit Ethernet, argento

The Targus DOCK429GL USB4 Dual Video Mobile Dock is a slim, travel-ready docking station that turns a single USB4, Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode connection into a full multi-display workstation. Built for hybrid professionals and frequent travellers, it pairs dual 4K video output with high-speed data, wired networking and up to 140W of power pass-through in a pocket-friendly aluminium body.

Advantages

Two HDMI 2.0 ports drive dual 4K monitors at 60Hz, or a single display at up to 8K@30Hz, eliminating the need for bulky adapters. A 140W EPR (PD3.1) pass-through can fast-charge demanding laptops while connected, and USB4 connectivity delivers data transfer up to 20Gbps. The lightweight, mostly recycled-aluminium chassis is engineered for mobility without sacrificing connectivity.

Suitable for

• Hybrid and remote professionals who need a portable dual-monitor setup
• Frequent travellers wanting a compact, all-in-one connection hub
• USB4 / Thunderbolt 3 and 4 laptops, plus USB-C DP Alt Mode notebooks
• High-wattage laptops requiring up to 140W charging on the go

How to use

Attach two monitors via the HDMI 2.0 ports, plug peripherals into the USB-A and USB-C ports, and add wired internet through the Gigabit Ethernet jack. For charging, feed a USB-C power adapter (up to 140W) into the dock to power the laptop and accessories through one cable.

Recommendations

To unlock dual 4K@60Hz and the full 140W charge rate, use a host laptop that supports USB4/Thunderbolt video and PD3.1 EPR, together with a 140W-rated USB-C power supply. On PD3.0 hosts the dock still delivers up to 100W.
