Tefal FV2839 Ferro da stiro Dry & Steam suola Cerilium 2400 W blu, bianco

The Tefal FV2839 is a 2400 W dry and steam iron designed to combine strong performance with compact handling. Equipped with a Cerilium soleplate, the iron provides smooth gliding across fabrics while offering both dry ironing and steam options. Its 0.27 L water tank supports on-demand steam and the vertical steam function enables refreshing and removing creases from hanging garments. The appliance weighs 1.3 kg and features a 1.9 m cord for flexible reach during ironing.

Advantages

The Cerilium soleplate reduces friction for efficient ironing and helps deliver consistent results across different fabric types. High power (2400 W) ensures rapid heat-up and steady temperature maintenance, while the combination of dry and steam modes lets you select the most suitable method for each garment. The compact dimensions and relatively low weight make the iron easy to manoeuvre and store. A 1.9 m cord length increases freedom of movement around the ironing board.

Suitable for

• Everyday household ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Refreshing suits, jackets and dresses using the vertical steam function
• Delicate fabrics requiring controlled steam or dry ironing
• Small living spaces where compact appliance size is preferred

How to use

Fill the water tank up to the indicated level before use if you intend to use steam functions. Plug in the iron and set the temperature appropriate for the fabric type, allowing the appliance to reach operating temperature. For steam ironing, select the steam setting; use vertical steam to refresh hanging garments at a safe distance. For delicate fabrics choose the dry or low-steam settings and move the iron gently across the fabric. After use, switch off and unplug the iron, allow it to cool completely, empty the water tank if recommended, and store it in an upright position.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if your tap water is hard to reduce scale build-up. Regularly clean the soleplate following the manufacturer's instructions to preserve the Cerilium surface. Always check garment care labels for ironing temperature and steam suitability to prevent fabric damage.
