Teglia in vetro Russell Hobbs RH01143EU 29 cm, blu navy

Glass roaster Russell Hobbs RH01143EU 29 cm, navy is a transparent ovenproof dish designed for roasting and baking a variety of dishes. The 29 cm diameter provides a generous cooking surface suitable for family meals, while the navy finish on the rim adds a subtle decorative touch. Made from tempered glass, this roaster enables even heat distribution and allows you to monitor cooking progress without removing the lid or opening the oven. It is intended for conventional oven use and for preparing casseroles, lasagna, roast meats and vegetables.

Advantages

The tempered glass construction ensures uniform heat transfer and resists thermal shock during regular oven use. Its transparent walls provide immediate visual control of browning and moisture levels, reducing the need to open the oven. The 29 cm size offers versatility for medium to large portions while fitting standard oven racks. The smooth glass surface is non-porous, which helps prevent odor and stain retention and simplifies cleaning by allowing food residues to be soaked and washed away.

Suitable for

• Casseroles and baked pasta dishes such as lasagna
• Roasting whole or portioned meats and poultry
• Baked vegetables and gratins
• Meal prepping and reheating in the oven

• Diameter: 29 cm

How to use

Place the glass roaster on a middle oven rack and preheat the oven to the temperature specified in your recipe. Arrange ingredients evenly in the roaster to ensure consistent cooking. Avoid placing the hot dish on cold or wet surfaces immediately after removal from the oven; instead, set it on a trivet or heat-resistant mat. To check doneness, inspect through the glass to minimize opening the oven door. Allow the roaster to cool slightly before washing to reduce thermal stress.

Recommendations

Use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when handling the roaster. Do not use the glass roaster on direct stovetop burners, under a grill element causing rapid localized heating, or over open flame. For cleaning, soak with warm water to loosen baked-on residues and wash with non-abrasive sponges and mild detergent. Avoid sudden temperature changes—do not transfer the hot roaster into cold water.
