Telecamera AVer PTC500S 2 MP nero

The AVer PTC500S is a professional auto-tracking camera designed for classrooms, auditoriums, and conference spaces. It combines a PTZ main camera with 30X optical zoom and a secondary 120° FOV panoramic lens to deliver Full HD 1080p video at up to 60 fps without a dedicated camera operator. The dual-lens system supports picture-in-picture viewing and a wide-area tracking algorithm that follows presenters even when they move away from the stage.

Advantages

The PTC500S provides precise presenter tracking via remote autofocus and advanced algorithms, eliminating the need for wearable devices or additional tracking hardware. Its 30X optical zoom with 350° pan and 120° tilt covers large rooms while preserving image detail, and the secondary super-wide camera captures the full scene for context. Built-in multi-presenter detection enables reliable tracking of two or more people for group discussions and interactive lessons.

How to use

Place the PTC500S on a stable surface or mount it according to the venue setup and connect power and video output to your streaming or recording system. Configure the tracking mode and PIP settings via the camera’s control software or remote controller, then position the camera for optimal coverage. The camera’s auto-tracking and multi-presenter detection run automatically; adjust zoom and framing as needed using the remote controls or software interface.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the camera at a height that offers an unobstructed view of the presenter area and ensure even room lighting. Use the panoramic secondary camera to establish context and enable PIP when highlighting the presenter. Regularly update the camera firmware and test tracking settings before live sessions.
