Telecamera bullet Hikvision DS-2CD20126G3-IUY/SL 12MP 2.8mm Easy IP 4.0+

Hikvision DS-2CD20126G3-IUY/SL 12MP 2.8mm Easy IP 4.0+ is a bullet-style outdoor security camera that provides high-resolution imaging for perimeter, entrance and parking surveillance. The 12-megapixel sensor captures fine detail across wide scenes while the 2.8mm fixed lens offers a broad field of view suitable for general-purpose monitoring. Built to integrate with Easy IP 4.0+ platforms, the camera supports common network video workflows and is intended for both professional and residential installations.

Advantages

The camera delivers 12MP resolution to improve identification and evidence capture compared with lower-resolution models. Its fixed 2.8mm lens covers wide areas without the need for continuous adjustment. Designed for outdoor use, the housing resists weather exposure and maintains stable video performance. Compatibility with Easy IP 4.0+ simplifies integration into existing video management systems and enables remote monitoring and recording. The combination of high resolution and network interoperability supports efficient surveillance deployments.

Suitable for

• Monitoring building perimeters and property boundaries
• Observing parking lots, driveways and entrance areas
• Small- to medium-sized business surveillance systems
• Residential exterior monitoring and gate coverage

How to use

Mount the bullet camera at a suitable height and angle to cover the desired area, ensuring the 2.8mm lens orientation captures the most relevant field of view. Connect the camera to a network switch or recorder that supports Easy IP 4.0+ and configure IP settings via the device web interface or the chosen video management software. Adjust image parameters such as exposure, white balance and compression to balance image quality and bandwidth. Verify night or low-light settings to confirm acceptable performance after sunset.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, install the camera under an eave or use a weather shield to reduce direct exposure to rain and sun. Use a network infrastructure that provides sufficient bandwidth and power-over-Ethernet if available, and schedule regular firmware updates and maintenance checks to ensure compatibility with Easy IP 4.0+ systems and optimal image quality.
