Telecamera di sorveglianza Bosch MIC IP Starlight 7100i PTZ 2MP HDR 30x IP68

The Bosch MIC IP Starlight 7100i PTZ 2MP HDR 30x IP68 is an outdoor-ready PTZ surveillance camera designed for continuous monitoring of large areas. It combines 2MP resolution with 30x optical zoom and HDR processing to capture detailed images across varying light conditions. Starlight technology enhances sensitivity for low-light scenes, while the IP68 enclosure ensures protection against dust and water for long-term external installation.

Advantages

High optical zoom and HDR enable clear identification at distance and improved detail in high-contrast scenes. The starlight sensor boosts performance in low-light and near-dark conditions without relying solely on infrared illumination. Robust ingress protection and a weatherproof housing make the camera suitable for exposed outdoor locations, and PTZ mechanics provide flexible pan, tilt and zoom coverage to track subjects or preset patrol routes.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and perimeter fence monitoring
• Large outdoor facilities such as industrial sites and logistics yards
• Transport hubs including ports, rail yards and airports
• Critical infrastructure and utility sites
• City surveillance and traffic monitoring

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 2 megapixels (full HD)
• Optical zoom: 30x
• High Dynamic Range (HDR) for wide contrast scenes
• Low-light starlight technology for improved night-time sensitivity
• Pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functionality for active tracking and presets
• Ingress protection rating: IP68 for dust and water resistance
• Designed for continuous outdoor operation

How to use

Install the camera on a stable mounting point with a clear field of view covering the area to be monitored. Connect power and network according to local electrical and cabling standards and configure camera settings via the network video management interface or compatible VMS. Use the PTZ controls to define patrol patterns, create presets, and set zoom limits; enable HDR and adjust exposure settings to optimise image quality in scenes with varying illumination. Periodically test movement, optics and housing seals to ensure reliable performance.

Recommendations

Position the camera to minimise direct sun glare and avoid obstructions near the lens. For critical night-time identification, combine starlight sensitivity with supplementary lighting when exact colour rendering or very long-range recognition is required. Schedule routine inspections of seals and mounting hardware after severe weather, and integrate the camera into a central monitoring system for automated alerts and recording.
