Telecamera di videosorveglianza IP Axis P1388-LE Box 3840 x 2160 pixel

This outdoor-ready AXIS P1388-LE box camera delivers reliable 8 MP (4K) image quality and is built for demanding surveillance environments. It features an exchangeable lens with i-CS support, optimized low-light performance and IR illumination for night operation, robust weather and impact protection, and onboard processing for AI analytics and secure edge operation.

Advantages

The camera combines high-resolution 4K imaging with Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR for accurate colors and detail in difficult lighting, plus P‑Iris for improved contrast and depth of field. Robust environmental ratings (IP66, IP67, IK10, NEMA 4X) and a wide operating temperature range make it suitable for outdoor installation. Built-in cybersecurity (Axis Edge Vault) and a DLPU enable secure, powerful edge analytics such as AXIS Object Analytics. Additional features include electronic image stabilization, front heater, OptimizedIR for night vision up to 50 m, tampering and shock detection, PoE and redundant DC power options.

How to use

Select and mount a compatible exchangeable lens (use the vendor lens calculator for exact focal length choice), install the camera in a suitable outdoor location using the recommended weathershield or AXIS P13 Weathershield Extension if needed, and connect power via PoE or redundant DC input. Configure scene profiles, enable electronic image stabilization if vibration is present, and set up IR and P‑Iris parameters for the required balance between depth of field and image contrast. Activate Axis Edge Vault and the DLPU-based analytics to run AXIS Object Analytics and other edge functions, and configure tampering/shock detection and alerting to receive notifications of interference attempts.

Recommendations

For best results in outdoor installations, pair the AXIS P1388-LE with a recommended exchangeable lens chosen via the lens calculator, use the AXIS P13 Weathershield Extension in exposed or snowy locations, and ensure redundant power or UPS protection to maintain operation during power interruptions.
