Telecamera di videosorveglianza IP Hikvision DS-2CD2387G2H-LIU(2.8mm)(eF)(O-STD)

The Hikvision DS-2CD2387G2H-LIU(2.8mm)(eF)(O-STD) is an 8 MP Smart Hybrid ColorVu fixed turret network camera offering 3840 x 2160 resolution for clear, detailed surveillance images. Designed for indoor and outdoor ceiling installation, the camera has a 360° rotation capability and a wide horizontal field of view (108.8°) to cover large areas. Equipped with a CMOS sensor and white turret housing, it provides effective monitoring with detection up to 89 m and object recognition up to 17 m while supporting wired Ethernet connectivity and common network-camera features such as video motion detection.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution 8 MP imaging that improves identification and situational awareness across varied lighting conditions. ColorVu technology enables clearer color images in low light, while the CMOS sensor and optimized optics maintain image clarity. The wide viewing angle and 360° rotation simplify coverage of broad scenes, and the turret design supports discreet ceiling mounting. Wired Ethernet ensures stable network connection, and built-in video motion detection helps reduce post-event searching.

Suitable for

• Ceiling-mounted surveillance of retail spaces and lobbies
• Indoor and sheltered outdoor monitoring of warehouses and corridors
• Areas requiring long detection range and object recognition (up to 89 m detection, 17 m recognition)
• Fixed-position perimeter coverage and general-purpose security monitoring

How to use

Mount the camera on a suitable ceiling surface using compatible mounting hardware and ensure the turret is oriented to cover the intended area. Connect the device to the network via Ethernet and configure basic settings through the Hikvision interface or supported VMS (video management software). Adjust the rotation and lens orientation to achieve the desired framing and set motion detection zones and recording parameters. Verify detection and recognition distances on-site and fine-tune sensitivity and exposure settings as needed to suit lighting conditions.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, install the camera in a sheltered outdoor location or indoors, provide stable PoE power via the network switch or use a recommended power supply, and keep firmware updated. Position the camera to maximize the 108.8° horizontal view and test motion detection and recording settings after installation to reduce false alarms.
