Telecamera dome fissa MOBOTIX M1A-S 150×85° con obiettivo giorno/notte

The MOBOTIX M1A-S fixed dome camera with a 150×85° field of view and Day/Night lens is a network surveillance camera designed for wide-angle monitoring in indoor or sheltered outdoor environments. The camera combines a broad coverage angle with optics optimized for changing light conditions, allowing consistent image capture from daylight through low-light situations. Intended for security and monitoring use, this model integrates into IP-based video systems for continuous visual coverage where a wide scene must be observed.

Advantages

The camera offers a large horizontal and vertical viewing angle that reduces the number of units required to cover extensive areas. The Day/Night lens supports reliable image quality when illumination levels fall, improving detection and identification in dim environments. As a fixed dome unit designed for network deployment, it provides straightforward integration with IP video management systems and supports centralized monitoring. Its compact dome form factor is suitable for discreet installation and protects the optics from casual contact and weather in sheltered locations.

How to use

Install the camera on a stable ceiling or under a sheltered mounting point oriented to cover the intended scene. Connect the unit to the local IP network according to standard cabling practices and configure it within the chosen video management system. Adjust the camera orientation and focus as needed to obtain the desired coverage given the 150×85° field of view, and verify image quality in different lighting conditions to ensure Day/Night performance meets site requirements. Apply regular maintenance such as cleaning the dome surface and checking network connections to maintain reliable operation.

Recommendations

Select mounting locations that avoid direct exposure to heavy rain or uncontrolled sunlight to preserve image quality and extend component life. For best results in low light, combine the camera with appropriate scene illumination or complementary sensors if identification at long distances is required. Ensure the camera is integrated into a secured network and configured with appropriate access controls and recording settings to meet site security policies.
