Telecamera IP Dahua IPC-HFW1839TC-A-IL-0280B nero 4MP

The Dahua IPC-HFW1839TC-A-IL-0280B Black 4MP is a compact network surveillance camera designed to deliver clear, high-resolution video for security monitoring. Equipped with a 4MP sensor and advanced image processing, the camera produces detailed footage that remains usable in varied lighting conditions. The housing is engineered for durability and can be installed in both indoor and outdoor locations. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) support simplifies wiring and installation while a wide field of view helps cover larger areas with a single unit.

Advantages

This IP camera offers 4MP resolution for improved detail compared with standard 1080p devices, making it easier to identify faces, license plates and other scene elements. Built-in image enhancement and low-light performance reduce noise and preserve clarity during dawn, dusk and other challenging lighting situations. The rugged enclosure and weather-resistant design extend operating life in exterior installations. PoE compatibility reduces the amount of cabling required, and the camera's wide viewing angle allows broad scene coverage from a single mounting point.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and entrance monitoring at commercial or residential properties
• Parking areas and driveways where wide coverage is needed
• Indoor public spaces such as lobbies, corridors and retail floors
• Small-to-medium outdoor installations that require weather-resistant equipment

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 4 megapixel network sensor providing high-resolution video
• Low-light performance: enhanced image processing for improved night and low-light clarity
• Lens and view: wide field of view suitable for broad area monitoring
• Power: Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) support for single-cable power and data
• Housing: weather-resistant, durable exterior suitable for outdoor installation
• Video output: network (IP) streaming compatible with standard video management systems

How to use

Mount the camera at a suitable height and angle to achieve the desired coverage, ensuring the field of view captures the important areas without significant obstructions. Connect the device to the network switch or injector supporting PoE to supply power and network connectivity in a single cable; alternatively, use a separate power source and network cable if PoE is not available. Configure network settings and video stream parameters using the camera's web interface or compatible video management software, adjusting resolution, frame rate and privacy masks as required for the site. Verify night and low-light performance by testing after installation and adjust angle or exposure settings if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the camera under an overhang or use a weatherproof junction box in exposed outdoor locations to minimize direct rain or sun exposure. For optimal identification, position the camera so subjects are facing the lens rather than backlit. Use a PoE switch with sufficient power budget and surge protection to improve system reliability.
