Telecamera IP dome Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-LI (4 MP, 2,8 mm, PoE, IP67, IK10, WDR 120 dB)

Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-LI is a 4 MP IP dome camera with a 2.8 mm fixed lens and 2688×1520 resolution. The camera provides 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), day/night operation and dual IR/white LEDs for night vision. It supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), H.265+ video compression and local storage via MicroSDHC. The aluminium alloy housing is rated IP67 and IK10 for protection against dust, water and impact, making the unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor surveillance.

Advantages

The camera combines high-resolution 4 MP imaging with 120 dB WDR to capture balanced detail in scenes with strong contrast. PoE support simplifies power and data cabling, while H.265+ reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. Robust IP67 and IK10-rated aluminium housing provides durable environmental and vandal resistance. Built-in microphone and motion detection add basic audio recording and event-triggered monitoring features.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter and entrance surveillance
• Indoor monitoring of commercial or public spaces
• Parking lots and garage areas
• Small to medium business premises requiring PoE cameras

How to use

Mount the dome camera on a stable surface following local installation regulations and ensure the housing seals are intact for outdoor use. Connect data and power via a PoE switch (IEEE 802.3af) or supply DC 12 V and connect to a 10/100 Mbps network. Configure the camera through its web-based management interface or via ONVIF-compatible NVR/software, set resolution and compression (H.265+), enable motion detection and adjust WDR and exposure settings for the scene. Insert a MicroSDHC card if local recording is required and secure access with a strong password.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, install the camera under a small eave or use additional shielding to reduce direct exposure to heavy rain. Regularly check seals and clean the dome cover to maintain image clarity. Use PoE for simplified cabling and select H.265+ encoding to minimize bandwidth and storage consumption.
