Telecamera IP Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-LI2U 2,8 mm 4 MP IR

The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-LI2U 2.8mm 4MP IR is a compact network camera engineered for reliable indoor and outdoor video surveillance. Equipped with a 2.8mm wide-angle lens and a 4-megapixel sensor, the camera delivers high-resolution footage with enhanced detail. Infrared LEDs provide night vision capability for monitoring in low light or complete darkness, while on-board image processing reduces noise and improves clarity. The camera's housing and mounting options support installation in a variety of locations where continuous monitoring and clear image capture are required.

Advantages

The 4MP resolution ensures clearer images and better identification of subjects compared to lower-resolution models. A 2.8mm lens offers a wide field of view, suitable for covering larger areas with a single camera. Infrared illumination enables consistent night-time performance without additional lighting. Integrated image processing enhances detail and reduces motion blur under varying light conditions. The camera supports typical network camera features for flexible deployment in surveillance systems.

Suitable for

• Indoor monitoring of corridors, offices and retail spaces
• Outdoor surveillance of entrances, parking areas and building perimeters (with appropriate mounting and protection)
• General property security for homes and small to medium businesses
• Areas requiring wide-angle coverage and moderate detail for identification

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 4 megapixel resolution for detailed video capture
• Lens: 2.8mm fixed wide-angle lens for broad scene coverage
• Night vision: built-in infrared LEDs for low-light and no-light environments
• Image processing: on-board noise reduction and enhancement for improved clarity
• Mounting: compact housing suitable for ceiling or wall installation

How to use

Install the camera at the chosen location using appropriate mounting hardware, ensuring the field of view covers the intended area. Connect the camera to the network via Ethernet or PoE where supported, and configure network settings using the camera's web interface or compatible NVR/software. Adjust lens orientation to frame the scene and configure image settings such as exposure and white balance to match lighting conditions. Verify infrared operation in low-light conditions and set motion detection or recording schedules as required.

Recommendations

Place the camera at a height and angle that minimize obstructions and reduce glare from direct light sources. For outdoor installations, use suitable protective housings or mounting locations to shield the camera from extreme weather. Regularly check firmware updates and perform periodic lens cleaning to maintain optimal image quality.
