Telecamera IP Instar IN-9408 2K+ 2560x1440 LAN PoE

The Instar IN-9408 2K+ 2560x1440 LAN PoE is an IP surveillance camera designed to capture high-resolution video for indoor and outdoor monitoring. It delivers 2K+ (2560x1440) image quality over a wired LAN connection and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to carry data and power through a single cable. The camera is intended for continuous recording, remote viewing via network clients, and integration with existing IP security systems.

Advantages

The camera provides sharp 2K+ resolution that enhances identification of faces and licence plates compared with standard HD cameras. LAN connectivity ensures stable video transmission and minimal latency on wired networks, while PoE simplifies installation by removing the need for a separate power supply. The compact, weather-resistant housing allows use in varied environments and supports continuous operation and centralized management through network video recorders or software clients.

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 2560 x 1440 (2K+)
• Network interface: 10/100 LAN with Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Suitable environments: indoor and outdoor use with weather-resistant housing
• Video output: IP streaming compatible with standard ONVIF/network clients
• Power: single-cable PoE power and data delivery

How to use

Install the camera at a location with a stable wired network connection and, if used outdoors, mounted under appropriate cover or on a secure bracket. Connect the camera to a PoE-enabled switch or injector using a CAT5e/CAT6 cable to provide both power and network access. Configure network settings and user accounts via the camera’s web interface or companion software, set recording schedules or motion detection zones, and verify remote viewing from desktop or mobile clients. Regularly check the mounting, cable integrity, and firmware updates to maintain consistent operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use shielded Ethernet cabling and a PoE switch rated for the camera’s power draw; position the camera to avoid direct glare from lighting and ensure the field of view covers target areas for identification and evidence-quality recording.
