Telecomando a infrarossi Sony RM-GD031 — telecomando sostitutivo per dispositivi Sony compatibili

Sony RM-GD031 is an infrared wireless remote control designed as a replacement or spare for compatible Sony audio and video devices. It restores basic remote functionality by transmitting infrared signals for common commands such as power, playback, volume and menu navigation. The RM-GD031 is intended for home use to replace a lost or broken original remote or to provide a secondary control option for another room without requiring device-specific programming beyond standard IR codes supported by many Sony models.

Advantages

The remote offers a compact, lightweight design with clearly marked buttons for straightforward operation. It communicates via infrared, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of Sony devices that accept standard IR commands. The control layout groups playback and navigation keys together, supporting intuitive use for everyday tasks such as adjusting volume, controlling playback and navigating on-screen menus. As a replacement remote, it provides a practical and cost‑effective way to restore basic control without repairing the original handset.

Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or damaged original Sony remote for audio and video equipment
• Providing a secondary remote for another room or user
• Basic playback control for DVD, Blu-ray players, receivers and compatible set-top devices
• Home use where standard infrared commands are accepted by the Sony device

How to use

Insert the required batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity. If the target device does not respond, verify battery charge and line-of-sight to the IR sensor. No special software installation is required; the remote relies on standard infrared signaling that many Sony devices recognize. Consult the compatible device’s user manual for IR receiver location and any device-specific settings that may affect remote operation.

Recommendations

Keep the remote within a direct line of sight to the device’s IR receiver and replace batteries when response slows. Avoid exposing the remote to moisture or extreme temperatures. Store the original remote code list or device manual if available to help confirm compatibility.
