This compact infrared remote provides basic navigation, menu access and media playback control for compatible Samsung TVs. It restores standard remote functions after the original is lost or damaged and simplifies everyday TV operation with clearly labelled buttons and a familiar layout.

Advantages

The remote offers straightforward replacement functionality with a layout consistent with Samsung’s 2021 Smart TV interface, enabling quick access to menus, source selection and playback controls. Its buttons are arranged for intuitive use, reducing the time needed to relearn commands. The unit is lightweight and battery-powered for immediate setup without additional accessories.

Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or broken original Samsung 2021 Smart TV remote
• Secondary remote for another room or household member
• Basic TV operation: channel navigation, volume control and media playback
• Users who need a direct, no-configuration replacement remote

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Samsung Smart TV models from 2021 that accept standard remote control signals
• Control type: infrared (IR) remote with standard TV control functions
• Functions: navigation arrows, OK/enter button, menu, back, home, volume, channel, numeric keypad, playback (play/pause/stop/rewind/fast-forward)
• Power source: replaceable batteries (standard AA or AAA depending on model socket)
• Physical: compact handheld form factor with tactile plastic buttons

How to use

Insert the required batteries into the battery compartment following the polarity markings. Point the remote toward the TV’s IR sensor and press the power button to switch the TV on. Use the navigation arrows and OK button to move through on-screen menus, press the home button to return to the Smart Hub, and use playback and volume controls as needed. No special pairing is required for TVs that support standard IR remotes; simply replace batteries and operate normally. If the TV does not respond, check battery orientation, battery level, and ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV sensor.

Recommendations

To extend battery life, remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period. Keep the IR sensor area clean and avoid exposing the remote to liquids or extreme temperatures. If buttons become unresponsive, replace batteries and test the remote at close range; persistent issues may indicate a need for a different replacement model compatible with the specific TV variant.
