Telecomando Sony RM-GA022 — telecomando sostitutivo per dispositivi audio e video Sony, funzionamento a infrarossi

Sony RM-GA022 is a replacement infrared remote control designed to operate a range of Sony audio and video devices. The remote provides standard IR command coverage for essential functions such as power on/off, volume adjustment, input selection and basic playback controls. It is intended as a spare or replacement for home entertainment systems where original remotes are lost, damaged or unavailable, offering a straightforward, no-frills control option that works with many Sony models out of the box.

Advantages

The remote uses infrared transmission to control compatible Sony devices, ensuring reliable line-of-sight operation for standard features. Its button layout groups common functions—power, volume, transport controls and input switching—so everyday operation is intuitive. As a replacement part, it removes the delay and cost of repairing an original remote and can serve as an extra remote for multi-room setups. The unit is lightweight and easy to handle, suitable for typical household use.

Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or broken original Sony remote
• Controlling basic functions of Sony TVs, receivers, soundbars and players
• Providing a simple spare remote for family or visitors
• Use in living rooms, bedrooms or secondary viewing areas

• Compatibility: designed for Sony audio and video equipment with standard IR command sets
• Power supply: battery powered (standard removable batteries)

How to use

Insert the appropriate batteries in the remote’s battery compartment following the polarity markings. Point the remote toward the front IR sensor of the Sony device and press the relevant buttons for power, volume or playback control. For input/source selection, use the input or source button to cycle through available device inputs. In many cases the remote will operate compatible devices immediately; if a device does not respond, consult the device manual for any device-specific IR settings or positioning requirements.

Recommendations

Keep the remote within line of sight of the controlled device and replace batteries when response becomes intermittent. Avoid exposing the infrared emitter to direct sunlight or strong lamps during use, as intense ambient light can reduce IR performance.
