How to use

Insert the probe into the medium to the recommended immersion depth for the specific measurement task and connect it to a compatible K-type thermocouple input on a thermometer or data logger. Allow the sensor to stabilise until the displayed temperature reading becomes steady. For accurate results, ensure the probe tip is positioned centrally within the product or process stream and avoid contact with vessel walls that can affect readings.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the probe for mechanical damage or contamination and clean according to the material and application to maintain hygienic conditions and measurement accuracy. Use appropriate protective sleeves or sheathes if required by the process environment and follow instrument manufacturer guidance for connection and temperature compensation when using a K-type thermocouple.
