Testa per treppiede Manfrotto 492 Centre testa a sfera nero rosso 1/4"

The Manfrotto 492 Centre Ball Head Black Red 1/4" is a compact, lightweight tripod head intended for photographers who need a versatile support solution for small to medium camera setups. It integrates a single locking knob for pan and tilt control and a quick-release plate for straightforward camera attachment and detachment. The head is finished in a black and red color scheme and is built to provide stable support for cameras within its rated load capacity.

Advantages

The ball head offers smooth multi-axis movement controlled by a single locking knob, enabling fast framing adjustments. Its quick-release plate simplifies mounting and removal of the camera, saving time when switching between handheld and tripod work. The compact design keeps overall kit weight down while still providing adequate rigidity for standard cameras and lenses. The construction is aimed at reliable, repeatable positioning during shooting.

• Travel and outdoor photography with mirrorless or compact DSLR cameras
• Studio and on-location portrait work with lightweight lenses
• Timelapse and long exposure setups where quick adjustments are required
• Everyday shooting where a compact, easy-to-operate head is preferred

• Type: centre ball head with single locking knob
• Load capacity: up to 6 kg
• Weight: compact and lightweight design suitable for travel
• Finish: black and red color scheme

How to use

Attach the Manfrotto 492 Centre Ball Head to a compatible tripod column using the tripod's mounting screw. Secure the quick-release plate to the camera body or base plate following the plate's alignment marks, then slide and lock the plate into the head until it clicks. Loosen the single locking knob to position the camera along the ball joint for the required angle and composition, then tighten the knob to lock the head in place. For panning shots, use the base rotation (if available) while keeping the main knob adjusted for ball movement.

Recommendations

Ensure the camera and lens combination does not exceed the specified 6 kg load capacity. Regularly check the quick-release plate locking mechanism before each use and tighten the main locking knob after adjusting the composition. When transporting, remove the camera from the plate or lock the plate securely to avoid accidental release.
