The North Face Uomo Verto Alpine Mid GORE-TEX Scarpe da trekking - Iron Clay/Lava Red - EU 45.5

Alpine treks demand footwear that won't weigh you down, yet few options manage to be both featherlight and rugged. The Verto Alpine Mid GORE-TEX closes that gap: an abrasion-resistant ripstop mesh upper with synthetic leather overlays sheds scree and brush while keeping the overall weight remarkably low. The mid-cut silhouette adds ankle support without restricting mobility, making it equally adept on steep switchbacks and exposed scrambles.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX® membrane for guaranteed waterproof, breathable performance in wet conditions.
• Surface Control™ rubber outsole with 4 mm lugs for reliable grip on rock, mud, and mixed terrain.
• CRADLE™ heel-stability technology and ESS Snake Plate™ provide torsional rigidity and underfoot protection.
• OrthoLite® Hybrid™ footbed delivers long-lasting cushioning with reduced environmental impact.
• TPU mudguard and toe protection shield against abrasion and impact.

In daily use

From dawn approaches to ridge traverses, the dual-density EVA midsole absorbs shock while preserving ground feel for precise foot placement. The lace-up closure allows a dialed-in fit, and the textile lining wicks moisture to keep feet dry. Whether you're carrying a light pack on a multi-day hut tour or moving fast on a day hike, these shoes respond with nimble confidence.
