Tosaerba Makita DLM432Z

The Makita DLM432Z lawn mower is a battery-powered mower designed for medium-sized lawns up to 575 m². It offers a 43 cm cutting width and a minimum cutting height of 2 cm, combining compact dimensions with a cutting system suitable for regular lawn maintenance. The unit is powered by an 18V battery (battery and charger sold separately) and is engineered for relatively quiet operation and easy maneuverability around garden obstacles.

Advantages

The mower’s 430 mm cutting width balances coverage and control, allowing efficient passes while remaining easy to steer. Its adjustable cutting height range down to 20 mm provides flexibility for different grass lengths and seasonal needs. As a battery-powered model, it eliminates direct exhaust emissions and reduces operating noise compared with petrol engines. The compact footprint makes storage and transport simpler, and the lightweight construction facilitates handling for most users.

Suitable for

• Maintaining medium domestic lawns up to approximately 575 m²
• Regular trimming and edge work in urban and suburban gardens
• Quiet mowing in noise-sensitive areas

Key specifications

• Cutting width: 430 mm
• Cutting height range: 20–75 mm
• Minimum cutting height: 20 mm
• Maximum cutting height: 75 mm
• Recommended maximum lawn area: 575 m²
• Power source: 18V battery (battery not included)
• Compact dimensions: width 460 mm, depth 1490 mm, height 1045 mm

How to use

Before use, fit a compatible 18V battery and ensure it is fully charged. Adjust the cutting height to the desired setting according to lawn conditions. Start the mower following the manufacturer’s safety instructions, walk at a steady pace while overlapping passes slightly to achieve an even cut, and avoid cutting wet grass to prevent clogging. After mowing, switch off the unit, remove the battery for charging or storage, and clear the cutting area of grass clippings and debris.

Recommendations

For best results, mow regularly and avoid removing more than one-third of the grass blade in a single session. Use the higher cutting heights during hot or dry periods to protect turf health. Charge and store batteries according to the battery manufacturer’s guidelines, and perform routine inspection of blades and airways to maintain cutting performance.
