The TP-Link Archer AXE5400 (Archer AXE75) is a tri-band Wi‑Fi 6E router designed to deliver high-speed, low-latency wireless connectivity across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and the new 6 GHz band. With a maximum combined throughput of up to 5400 Mbps, six high-performance antennas and a powerful chipset with increased memory, this router supports many simultaneous devices while maintaining stable connections and broad home coverage. It includes a USB 3.0 port, five Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and advanced security support including WPA3 and TP-Link HomeShield.

Advantages

Wi‑Fi 6E operation adds the 6 GHz band to reduce congestion and interference from older devices, providing more bandwidth, lower latency and improved speeds. The Archer AXE5400 supports up to 5400 Mbps total throughput for smoother 4K/8K streaming, AR/VR and fast downloads. An advanced chipset and larger RAM improve processing under heavy load so connected devices respond quickly. Six external antennas with beamforming extend coverage and focus signal strength toward devices, while OFDMA and other multi-user technologies raise capacity to serve 200+ devices. How to use

Connect the Archer AXE5400 to your modem via the WAN (RJ‑45) port and plug in power. Use the TP‑Link Tether mobile app or the web management interface to run the guided setup—configure your network name (SSID), password and security settings. Attach any wired devices to the Gigabit LAN ports and connect external storage to the USB 3.0 port if required. To expand coverage, add compatible OneMesh extenders and configure them under the same Wi‑Fi name for seamless roaming.

Recommendations

Place the router centrally in your home, elevated and away from large metal objects or other sources of wireless interference. Enable WPA3 and HomeShield features for improved security, and turn on automatic firmware updates (OTA) to keep the router up to date. For optimum multi-device performance, enable OFDMA and other multi-user settings in the router’s interface and, when possible, connect high-bandwidth devices to the 5 GHz or 6 GHz bands.
