It integrates seamlessly into a Deco mesh system, providing seamless roaming and robust coverage for up to 150 devices.

Key specifications

  • Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with dual-band AX3000: 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz + 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz
  • PoE support (802.3af/at) for simplified installation and power delivery
  • 2× Gigabit Ethernet ports (WAN/LAN auto-sensing) for wired backhaul or device connections
  • Coverage up to 230 m² (2500 sq. ft.) per unit; expandable with additional Deco units
  • Advanced technologies: OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Beamforming, 1024-QAM
  • TP-Link HomeShield security: real-time IoT protection, malicious site blocker, intrusion prevention, DDoS protection
  • WPA3 encryption for enhanced network security
  • Parental controls with custom profiles, content filtering, and time limits
  • Quality of Service (QoS) for device prioritization
  • Manage via Deco app (iOS/Android); supports router and access point modes
  • Dual-core CPU for stable performance
  • Power supply: 12V 1.5A DC adapter or PoE (802.3af/at)

Why choose it

This mesh unit combines the speed and efficiency of Wi-Fi 6 with the convenience of PoE, eliminating the need for separate power cables and enabling discreet placement. It's ideal for creating a seamless, high-capacity network that handles dozens of simultaneous connections without lag, backed by enterprise-grade security features.

Ideal use cases

  • Small to medium businesses needing reliable Wi-Fi coverage across multiple rooms or floors
  • Retail stores, cafes, or clinics where clean installation and consistent connectivity are essential
  • Tech-savvy homes with many smart devices, 4K streaming, and online gaming
  • Expanding an existing Deco mesh network with an additional satellite unit

Good to know

The unit can be powered via the included DC adapter or through a PoE switch/injector (802.3af/at). It works as a standalone router or as part of a Deco mesh system; for mesh functionality, at least one Deco unit must serve as the main router. The Deco app provides step-by-step setup, network management, and security alerts. Note: this listing includes one unit only; additional units are sold separately.
