Description

The TP-Link VIGI 5MP Full-Color Turret Network Camera offers high-quality surveillance with a 5MP resolution and full-color night vision. It features a 107° field of view, 0.005 lx minimum illumination, and a CMOS sensor for clear images. Ideal for indoor use, it supports wired connectivity and ceiling mounting. With a detection distance of 80 m and recognition distance of 16 m, it ensures comprehensive monitoring.

The TP-Link VIGI 5MP Full-Color Turret Network Camera (VIGI C450(4mm)) delivers 5MP resolution and full-color monitoring around the clock. Designed for indoor ceiling installation, this wired IP security camera uses a high-sensitivity CMOS sensor, a 107° field of view and supplemental lighting to capture clear, colorful details even in low light down to 0.005 lx. It supports PoE for single-cable power and data, H.265+ video coding to reduce storage and network load, and local storage via microSD (up to 256 GB).

Advantages

This camera provides constant full-color imaging at 5MP resolution with SmartVid video enhancement (WDR, 3D DNR, Smart IR) to improve image clarity. Integrated AI enables human and vehicle classification and analytics for faster searches by attributes. Active defense with sound and light, two-way audio, corridor mode for narrow areas, and flexible storage options add practical value for business and indoor surveillance. PoE wiring simplifies installation.

Suitable for

Indoor retail areas and shop floors
Office spaces and reception areas
Corridors and stairwells (using corridor mode)
Small warehouses and storage rooms

Key specifications

Resolution: 5 MP
Field of view: 107°
Sensor: CMOS, minimum illumination 0.005 lx
Frame rate: up to 30 fps
Detection distance: up to 80 m; recognition distance: up to 16 m
Video coding: H.265+
Storage: microSD card slot, up to 256 GB
Connectivity: Wired Ethernet (PoE supported)
Mounting: Ceiling
Placement: Indoor
Product colour: White, Black
Weight: 0.24 kg

How to use

Mount the turret camera on a suitable indoor ceiling surface and connect it to your PoE-capable switch or injector using an RJ45 cable to provide power and network simultaneously. Configure the camera via the VIGI management interface or compatible NVR/software, set detection rules and AI classification options, and format or insert a microSD card if local recording is needed. Use corridor mode when monitoring long, narrow areas to rotate the image 90°.

Recommendations

For optimal full-color night performance, ensure the camera has an unobstructed view and consider positioning supplemental lighting sources where extreme darkness or reflective surfaces are present. Regularly update firmware and review detection rule presets to reduce false alarms and tailor analytics to your environment.

Punti salienti

5MP Super-High Definition: The camera comes with 5MP–more than enough pixels to pick up some of the more discrete details
24h Full-Color: Obtain 24-hour color details, even in pitch-black conditions, with its large-aperture lens, high-sensitivity sensor, and attached supplemental lights
Human & Vehicle Classification: Distinguishes humans and vehicles from other objects, so you receive more accurate event notifications
Smart Detection: Actively detects abnormal events like area intrusion and line-crossing, sending notifications to you instantly
People & Vehicle Analytics: Quickly find people and vehicles of interest using a series of attributes, allowing you to improve search efficiency§
Active Defense: Warn potential intruders instantly with sound and light when abnormal events
Two-Way Audio: With voice intercom support, carry two-way conversations while watching your feed from anywhere
Corridor Mode: Allows you to change the image aspect ratio from 16:9 to 9:16, and helps to monitor long and narrow areas
H.265+: Without using any extra bandwidth, your cameras transmit compressed crystal-clear video to save disk space, ease network loads, and reduce monitoring costs without sacrificing image quality
Smart Video Enhancement: VIGI's professional technologies process videos to greatly improve their quality that is vital to your monitoring, including Smart IR, True WDR, 3D DNR, and Night Vision
PoE/12V DC: Two types of power supply not only give you more convenience but also make your wiring remarkably easy
Flexible Management and Storage: Take full control over your security via four management methods: the web UI, NVR UI, VIGI app, and VIGI Security Manager. Local storage is available for each method, as well as onboard storage with SD card slot (up to 256 GB)
