Key specifications

How to use

Position the cable to be cut centrally within the blade opening, ensuring the area to be cut is free from tension or supports that could move during cutting. Hold the cutter with a firm two-handed grip, align the blades for a straight cut and apply steady pressure until the tool completes the cross-section. For armored or multi-layered cables, make progressive cuts if necessary to avoid excessive force at once, and ensure the cut ends are handled with appropriate insulation and protection afterward.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect cutting edges for wear and maintain lubrication on pivot points to preserve cutting quality. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as insulating gloves and eye protection, when working with live or potentially energized cables, and follow local safety regulations for electrical work.
