The Ugreen 80712B Aluminium Black passive holder is a car vent mount designed for secure placement of mobile phones and smartphones. Its aluminium-and-black finish offers a discreet, low-profile appearance that integrates with most vehicle interiors. The passive design provides stability without motors or electronics, holding devices firmly in place while allowing easy access to screens and controls.

Advantages

The aluminium construction combines light weight with rigidity, reducing vibration and improving device stability during driving. The car vent mount format allows quick installation and relocation without tools, while the passive clamping mechanism is simple to operate and compatible with a wide range of phone sizes. The neutral black-aluminium colour scheme minimizes visual distraction and blends with dashboards of different styles.

Suitable for

• Holding smartphones for navigation and hands-free use in the car
• Mounting a mobile phone for voice calls and media control while driving
• Temporary placement of a device on car air vents during short trips

Key specifications

• Mount type: Car vent mount suitable for most air vent designs
• Holder type: Passive clamp (no electronic components)
• Compatible devices: Mobile phones and smartphones of common sizes
• Material: Aluminium main body with black finish
• Colour: Aluminium and black

How to use

Insert the holder clip into a horizontal or vertical car air vent slat and ensure it grips securely. Place the mobile phone between the clamp arms and adjust the position so the device screen is visible and accessible without obstructing vehicle controls. Check that the holder is stable and that the phone does not block air flow in a way that could affect visibility or comfort.

Recommendations

Position the holder on a central or side vent that offers a clear view of the screen while keeping attention on the road. Avoid mounting where the phone will overheat from hot air; if necessary, move the device to a different vent or disable strong heating while using navigation. Regularly inspect the clamp and vent attachment for wear and re-seat if loosened.
