The Ugreen NASync DXP480T Plus Intel Core i5-1235U 8GB DDR5 is a compact network-attached storage device designed for home and small office environments. Powered by an Intel Core i5-1235U processor and equipped with 8GB of DDR5 memory, the NAS delivers responsive performance for file storage, backup, media streaming and centralized data access. The unit runs UGOS PRO operating system, offering a user-oriented interface and essential NAS features. The chassis has a compact grey design and supports up to four storage drives, allowing flexible capacity and redundancy configurations.

Advantages

The combination of an Intel Core i5-1235U CPU and 8GB DDR5 RAM provides a balance of processing power and memory bandwidth suitable for multitasking and concurrent data access. Support for four SSD drives and RAID configurations enables scalable storage with options for improved performance or data protection. Integrated Ethernet LAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity allow flexible placement and network integration. The compact chassis and neutral grey finish suit home or office environments where space is limited.

Suitable for

Centralized file storage and sharing for home or small office
Automated backups and versioned file protection
Media streaming to multiple devices
Storing virtual machine images or container data sets
Scalable SSD-based storage with RAID for redundancy or performance

Key specifications

Processor: Intel Core i5-1235U
Memory: 8GB DDR5
Supported storage drives: SSD
Maximum number of storage drives supported: 4
RAID: supported
Network connectivity: Ethernet LAN and Wi‑Fi
Chassis: compact form factor
Colour: grey

How to use

Install compatible SSDs into the available drive bays according to the included hardware instructions, choosing the desired RAID configuration through the UGOS PRO setup interface. Connect the NAS to your network via Ethernet or configure Wi‑Fi in the system settings. Use the UGOS PRO web or mobile interface to create user accounts, shared folders, backup tasks and media libraries. Map network shares on client devices or use SMB/NFS/FTP protocols supported by the NAS for access from Windows, macOS and Linux systems.

Recommendations

For balanced performance and data protection, populate drives with SSDs of the same capacity and configure a RAID level that matches your needs (for example, RAID 5 for a balance of redundancy and usable capacity). Keep the UGOS PRO firmware up to date and schedule regular backups. Place the NAS in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper cooling during sustained workloads.
